Nigeria’s main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has disqualified two presidential aspirants as 17 of the hopefuls undergone screening on Friday.
Platforms Africa reports that the Chairman of the Screening Committee, Senator David Mark, disclosed this to journalists after the screening on Friday at Lagacy house, Abuja, the alternate National Secretariat of the party at 7pm.
Senator David Mark, refused to disclose the names of the disqualified aspirants and the reasons for their disqualification.
David Mark simply noted that the aspirants did not meet the requirements.
Senator David Mark also stated that the report of the screening will be transmitted to the PDP National Working committee for consideration tonight.
